Unopposed Calcium Dominance [UCD]: the condition where calcium is in excess and opposing magnesium ions are insufficient to maintain balance between these two opposing mineral elements and their regulatory functions.

Dysfunctional calcium metabolism involves unbalanced osteocalcin metabolism which regulates how you use and deposit calcium.  Ostercalcin metabolism can be better managed with Metabolic Complex.  Read about it by clicking hyperlink or see Metabolic Complex in Glossary link above.

Overview

Unopposed calcium dominance occurs when intake of either dietary or supplemental calcium is in excess and the body is forced to sequester calcium where it would not normally be stored, such as bone spurs, narrowing of nerve channels [stenosis], in the artery walls and heart valves and in breast tissue.

Other contributing factors that drive UCD are an acidic body terrain because of stored acid waste in the tissues and control of regulatory hormones by fungal yeast and the mycotoxins they secrete.

UCD is a key element in breast cancer.  Oddly, women are told to take calcium to avoid osteoporosis and at the same time encouraged to undergo yearly mammogram which SUPPOSEDLY detects cancer by measuring “hot spots” in breast tissue emanating from calcium deposits.
