Obesity: a condition where an individual is more than 20% above normal, healthy body weight.

THe problem with this definition is that it does not identify the causative factors behind why people put on weight, outside of the usual list: overeating, insufficient exercise, hormones, etc.

Overview

Many factors are at play as to why someone is obese or cannot permanently reduce excess body fat or who gain weight despite disciplined dietary habits.

No discussion of obesity would be complete without reference to MAJOR ROLE played by Molds & Fungus in taking control of normal metabolism and causing dysfunction of vital organs.  To learn more, read Mold & Fungus Protocol in the Protocol Tab above.

Obesity says loss of control of the body’s hormone regulatory system represented by leptin, insulin and adrenaline ‘resistance’.  See Special Insights, Change Your Food Habits, Change Your Life by clicking hyperlink.

We should be concerned why an individual is not slim.  Obesity is the product of sluggish metabolism, poor diet and poor dietary habits combined with hormonal imbalance.

It must be EMPHASIZED that obesity and excess body fat are without doubt confirmations of iodine ion insufficiency and poor thyroid function, both of which affect metabolic rate.  To understand more about this easily corrected issue, read Special Insights, Bio-Friendly Iodine & Perpetual Health in the Archive link above/below.

If you cannot burn the food you eat, your body will store it as fat.  Obviously, eating good food is better than eating junk food, however, when you do not FULLY DIGEST the food you eat, even when it is healthy food, the body is denied access to the value locked-up in the food.

To lose weight, you must address your regulatory hormones and you must address issues of: digestion, diet, water, bowels, sleep and exercise.

As people age they generally put on weight and/or gain inches because their metabolic rate is slowing and because their bodies have NO CHOICE but to make fat.

Know, excess body fat makes excess estrogen in both sexes, causing women to experience increased breast size and men to grow modified breasts.  Excess estrogen creates symptoms common to menopause because of ‘unopposed’ estrogen dominance which is an odd way of saying: lack of offsetting hormones such as progesterone, testosterone and DHEA.

While there is no questions that changes in so-called sexual hormones affect obesity, hormones should NOT be blamed or targeted as the cause of obesity. Rather the contributing factors mentioned herein are the driving factors.

Obesity in children is EPIDEMIC due to consumption of sugar, poor diet, eating too often and poor digestion.  The effects imposed by the Autoimmune Attack Cycle and the Sugar/Alcohol Cycle are key ingredients in the recipe for obesity in children as well as adults.

Of all the contributing factors associated with aging, obesity is at the very top of the list.  Excess weight is the effect; hormonal resistance is THE CA– USE of diabetes which officially affects one third of the population with the remaining two thirds close behind as pre-diabetics.

‘Resistance’ to regulatory hormones not only drives obesity, but it also drives diabetes, cancer, kidney issues, arthritis loss of vision and hearing, hypertension and cardiovascular problems.  Resistance affects 98% of the population, young and old alike!
