Edema: the abnormal accumulation of interstitial fluids (fluids between cells).

Overview

Edema is a red flag and trouble in the making; it is a ‘terrain’ issue that is not recognized for its implications by the medical system that treats it as a cosmetic, inconvenience and/or issue of pain issue, poor circulation.

Edema reflects serious accumulation of tissue fluids and excess waste in the tissues often driven by sluggish bowels, cardiovascular issues, a poorly function lymphatic system.

Perhaps the biggest contributing factor in manifestation of edema is leptin and insulin resistance and Factor-X.  Click hyperlinks to read about them.

Consider edema a sign of toxicity and poor liver function. Use of elastic stockings on lower legs is not a solution for this problem which is better addressed by lifestyle and dietary and digestive changes.
