Nuclear DNA: DNA contained WITHIN the nucleus of the cell i.e. genetic DNA distinct from mitochondrial DNA.

Overview

When you see reference to human DNA, it is nuclear DNA that is being referred to.

Within DNA are our genes, sections of which are referred as chromosomes.

Nuclear DNA is NOT fixed, and the expression of our genes is easily influenced by our internal, environmental terrain, our microbiota, microbiome and epigenome.

References to the human genome is reference to nuclear DNA.
