Dis-ease: refers to conditions of a dysfunctional or compromised body organ, tissue or the terrain.

Disease refers to medical conditions as defined by the Germ Theory of Disease.  Note, the hyphen [-] changes the connotation from medical to terrain orientation.

Dis9ease and disease do NOT have the same meaning and connotation.  ‘The Terrain’ is a concept popularized by John Thomas in the book, Young Again! in 1994.
