Satiety hormone: a hormone that acts as a curb on appetite and prevents BOTH overeating and over production of insulin by the pancreas.

Overview

Leptin is a satiety hormone made by the fat cells.

leptin levels are read by leptin receptors in the brain, UNLESS the receptors suffer from glycation.
