Lugol’s solution: a liquid, salt molecule of the elements potassium and iodine.

Overview

Potassium-iodide (P/I) is a common form of over-the-counter, supplemental iodine.

P/I is a tightly-bonded, molecule requiring substantial amounts to get limited, beneficial effect. P/I comes in both tablet and liquid forms.

The most common liquid form of potassium iodide is called Lugol’s Solution.  Pill forms of Lugol’s solution are salt forms.

Iodine is an essential element with limitless therapeutic applications, if made available daily in sufficient quantity and in a bio-friendly form.

Because  is a compound, (not actual iodine, but a molecule composed of iodine and potassium), the body is required to break it down which limits availability and benefits iodine ions are capable of providing.

Iodine is the only therapeutic halogen on the Periodic Table of Elements with the ability to dislodge and replace toxic halides, such as fluorine, bromine and chlorine from receptors responsible for managing metabolism and the body’s vital organs.

Potassium iodide is NOT the best source or form of iodine.  Iodide is a reduced molecule with one extra electron.  Iodide requires additional OXIDATION to strip-away the extra electron before the body can attempt to access some of the iodine contained in, the iodide molecule.

OXIDATION is an inefficient pathway in iodine physiology.  For millions of people with impaired metabolic pathways, oxidation is not an option.  Better to use bio-friendly iodine to meet the body’s needs without additional processing.

To get around the difficulties associated with the  molecule, and to greatly enhance absorption and bio-activity, Young Again Club offers iodine in stabilized, liquid, single-atom, form called, RIO.

RIO contains no potassium and is readily taken-up by organs, issues and cells for immediate absorption and benefit.  It is head and shoulders above common potassium-iodide formulations.

The body stores iodine is the thyroid, breasts, ovaries, testicles and prostate.  Iodine is absolutely essential for normal growth and development with wonderful overtones for thousands of applications.

So-called recommended daily value (dose) for iodine is meaningless because it only focuses on goiter prevention while TOTALLY IGNORING sufficient supplies of iodine ions for repair, maintenance and growth.

Women need multiple times MORE iodine of males, partially explaining why thyroid problems (both hypo and hyper) are so prevalent in females.

Severe shortage of available iodine is behind the conditions commonly called: Hashimoto’s, Grave’s and goiter.  These serious conditions primarily affect women.  Lesser iodine deficiencies manifest in hundreds of ways in both sexes, but are ignored by mainstream medicine.

Whether in conventional medicine or alternative medicine, IGNORANCE RULES when it comes to thyroid issues and iodine applications.

Proof is the call for endless testing of TSH, T-3 and T-4 [all of which are generally useless metrics] and the prescribing of medications that do not answer why the patient has issues.

For your information, T-4 is the non-active form of the thyroid hormone, thyroxin called, T-3.

Unfortunately for patients, medical compliance calls for practitioners to walk the line.  That line is called the “standard of Care” which is a disaster for patients.

The sick-care system has made captive agents of good, decent people.  They have no choice, but patients do!  Self-care is better than sick-care, but it is only for those willing to take control and allow their body’s to health themselves.

Woe be unto those who allow clinicians and experts to rule their lives.

Iodine is a gaseous, acidic elemental gas whose valence shell is missing one electron to stabilize; hence, it readily bonds with potassium which has extra electrons in its valence shell that it can share with iodine.

Potassium is an alkaline earth mineral; iodine is an unstable, adidic gas.  When their valence shells bond, they form a salt crystal (a salt).

Iodine is the ONLY halogen gas with therapeutic value.  The other halogens are: fluorine, bromine and chlorine; all of which ATTACH and OCCUPY key body receptors in the ABSENCE of iodine.  Iodine is critical for healthy, normal metabolism.

Iodine is the heaviest and largest of the stable halogen atoms giving it the ability to DISLODGE the toxic halogen [and halides] fluorine, bromine, and chlorine from body receptors. When iodine occupies body receptor sites, the toxic halides are unable to attach.

If iodine ions are supplied daily, in bio-active form and in sufficient quantity, they BOTH prevent hostile take-over of receptors and, at the same time, allow the body’s vital organs the ability to function and regulate normal metabolism we associate with absence of disease AKA: health!
