Vestigial: the accepted medical definition of vestigial refers to anatomical structures or attributes that have apparently lost most or all of their ancestral function; an evolutional structure.

Overview

Sadly, the medical industry considers the appendix, tonsils and gallbladder to be vestigial in nature; meaning unnecessary for maintenance of body physiology, health and longevity. Modern medicine thinks God and nature goofed by including these structures in the body.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  The body is born with these organs for good reason,  While the body can live without them, it functions better with them, particularly in the area of digestion and a functioning immune system.

For example, the appendix is the bearing ground for intestinal flora.  Note, the appendix is located at the junction of the small and large intestine in the area called the cecum which is surrounded by the intestinal Peyer’s Patches of the ileum.

The appendix is the bearing ground of friendly intestinal bacteria that make up the gut microbiome.

Take care of your terrain and you can avoid losing your body parts.
