Tyrosine: is a non-essential amino acid [meaning the body can make it, as opposed to being dependent on outside supply sources] that is a neurotransmitter and precursor to formation of thyroid hormone.

Overview

Tyrosine is a precursor to neurotransmitters and increases plasma neurotransmitter levels of dopamine and norepinephrine.

The thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) in the colloid of the thyroid also are derived from tyrosine.

YAC product, BT Creme is a bio-active tyrosine transdermal creme that provides a protein-assisted pathway for production and conversion of thyroid hormone.
