Pelvic floor [pelvic diaphragm]: a term that refers to the musculature of the pelvic region of the body that supports the bladder, uterus, low back and sacrum.

Overview

Muscles of the pelvic floor are subject to deterioration like other muscles of the body.

Deterioration of the pelvic floor accompanies bladder distention, low back discomfort, posture, bladder retention, bowel function, gate and flexibility.

Deterioration and/or loss of muscle tone ALWAYS involves ongoing, low-grade inflammation resulting from long-term pre-diabetic, elevated blood sugar [over 90] and insulin resistance.
