Hair: is an extension of skin and a good indicator of what is and is not going on inside the body.

Overview

Similarly, the nails are extensions of skin and both are affected by the small intestine, meaning poor diet, poordigestion, sluggish bowels and compromised liver function.

The Young Again Club position on hair loss and thinning is as follows: slow metabolism i.e. slow metabolic rate and lack of sufficient intake of bio-active iodine ions drives hair loss and thinning, as well as deterioration of the skin, in general.

Included is loss of eyebrows, which is a female issue because women have more thyroid challenges than men and require 10X iodine intake over men.

Other contributing factors are: stress, inadequate mineral electrolyte intake, build-up of waste in the tissues, adrenal fatigue, hormone imbalance, intake of sweets, inadequate sleep and the Sugar/Alcohol Cycle and the Autoimmune Attack Cycle.

Hair issues are aging issues reflective of metabolic slowdown and systemic inflammation. Also, lack of balance between the regulatory hormones leptin and insulin.  To learn more,  read Special Insights, Change your Food Habits, Change Your Life by clicking hyperlink.
