Anabolism: is the building-up process of growth and repair; the opposite of catabolism.

Overview

Anabolism is that state in which the body heals, grows and repairs; it is a youthful condition.

The body reaches it’s anabolic peak by age 24 and begins to degenerate by age 35; anabolism and puberty occur together just as catabolism and menopause/andropause occur together.

Regardless of one’s calendar age, anabolism must be achieved and maintained or the body will automatically deteriorate.

The following factors control your ability to be ‘anabolic’: eight to ten hours of deep sleep nightly, three to five bowel movements a day, full digestion of food, avoidance of leptin, insulin and adrenaline resistance, a healthy diet; absence of a junk diet, exercise, drinking of healthy water after each urination, two meals a day vs. three, intake of large amounts of dietary fats (butter, coconut fat), ability to assimilate dietary fat, absence of dietary sweets (sugar, fruit, fruit juice and alcohol).
